About Tampa Bay Teen Lit Fest
Tampa Bay Teen Lit Fest is a one of a kind event bringing critically acclaimed writers of Young Adult Fiction to one virtual space. Please join us for live sessions featuring authors who write in a variety of genres. Attendees will get a chance to ask questions, hear stories and even win books from their favorite authors!
Opening Keynote - Bring Your Curiosity

Readers are invited to ignite their curiosity about authors, books, and reading in preparation for a monthlong Tampa Been Teen Lit Fest. Keynote speakers are bestselling authors Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner who have written several books together, including their latest series, The Other Side of the Sky, and the Starbound and Unearthed series.
Panel Discussion - Life's Tricky Turns
Thursday, October 7, 6:30 p.m. Register
Through books teens often find they are not alone, and this panel focuses on many real world issues teens may encounter throughout their life. Join authors Dhonielle Clayton (The Belles), Candice Iloh (Every Body Looking), and Francisco X. Stork (On the Hook) for a discussion moderated by Blogger/Librarian Nikki Shaw.
Panel Discussion - Myth and Magic

This panel will explore magical worlds inspired by well-known myths and stories of various cultures, where each world is filled with its own unique twists. Join a panel of authors Thanhhà Lai (Butterfly Yellow), Debbie Rigaurd (Simone Breaks All the Rules), and Romina Garber (Lobizona) for a discussion moderated by Blogger/Librarian Emma Carbone.
Closing Keynote - Athletes and Activism: Using the Podium to Speak Out

Closing out the festival readers are invited to explore the rapidly changing role of famous athletes who use their position to champion social causes and make impactful changes. Closing keynote speakers are coauthors Kimberly Jones and Gilly Segal who have written I'm Not Dying with You Tonight and the recently released Why We Fly.
